Each squirrel is sat to the table playing chess, one winning with delight, the other loosing and deep in thought, set within a carpeted room setting with pictorial wallpaper. The maker’s trade label doubbling as a wall hanging, featuring an early photograph of Donnington Castle which is a local landmark. Housed in a three-sided glazed case with taped edges.
