Display of eleven birds housed in a most unusual dome-topped case with angled sides. Each bird in excellent colour and mounted in animated poses amidst a vegetated earthy bank with snails, ferns and grasses whilst the glass bottom cleverly simulates a pool of water. Set against a plain painted back, roof and sides, in a large glass fronted case with brown taped frame. Species include: Little Grebe, Kingfisher, Oystercatcher, Coot, Teal (m/f), Snipe, Black-tailed Godwit, Dipper, Water Rail, Black-legged Kittiwake (immature).
